I usually have to buy a new vacuum about every other year. I don't tend to buy the cheapest model, but definitely not the most expensive, either. Usually, I will get a middle of the road model that runs somewhere around the $250.00 mark. I had daydreamed about owning my own Dyson vacuum for years, but the price always stopped me in my tracks. I was totally floored when I received one as a birthday gift from my husband & grown children.
I wanted to see how good my Dyson really was, so first I vacuumed with my regular machine, picking up the usual amount of dirt & fur. Then, I vacuumed again with the Dyson. Oh My Gosh! I could not believe the amount of dirt & fur that this machine was picking up from my floors that I had JUST vacuumed!
Let me tell you, this is the BEST vacuum that I ever had the pleasure to use! This machine is one super-duper, deep cleaning machine! Add to that, all the cool gadgets that helps you clean in tight spaces, helps you reach high places, special tools for cleaning drapes, furniture, stairs & even your car! The mobility of this machine is almost effortless. It glides easily on the ball in and around furniture & takes up much less space than a conventional machine.
Vacuuming is still not high on my list of favorite chores to do, but now I know that I am doing a much better job at getting my home much cleaner plus it takes a lot less effort to accomplish the task! Just the fact that this machine comes with a 5-year parts & labor warranty means that I will not have to replace this machine for many years to come!
